ASIAN BLEPHAROPLASTY
Contact UsAsian Blepharoplasty
The shape of east asian eyes is one of the most unique human beauties. It is well documented in master art pieces throughout history. It is important to understand that the patient does not wish to alter their ethnicity but rather enhance it. Asian eyelid surgery is the most challenging eyelid surgery both technically and intellectually. The surgery must be individualized to avoid a manufactured look. It also requires the highest level of cultural sensitivity.
The surgery involves designing the right shape of the eyes, the appropriate height for the fold, and correction of any associated ptosis.

Contact UsHOW IS An Asian BLEPHAROPLASTY PERFORMED?
Blepharoplasty usually takes about 45 minutes to two hours to complete. This procedure is typically performed as an outpatient procedure using local anesthesia and or intravenous sedation. In some cases, nervous patients can opt for general anesthesia to ease their anxieties about undergoing surgery. Incisions will be made after careful measurement and taken. A natural crease will be constructed using techniques based on each patient’s individual anatomy and desires.
